Vegetative Patients

A vegetative state is a condition in which a person is conscious but not aware of their surroundings, and, most importantly, they are not able to communicate. These patients may not be conscious or may have limited consciousness. This means that all the vegetative patient’s responses are limited to what the person can see, hear, taste, smell, or touch. They cannot express themselves or communicate with others.

What makes VAAG health unique?

As a nonprofit organization, we recognize the importance of our donors in providing assistance to the needy. As a way of strengthening our bond with you, we show you how your donations are being used in the lives of the needy through photos and videos that will be shared with you for life irrespective of the duration of your donation. We provide you with these proofs to give a sense of how your donations are being used. You will also get a 100% refund if for any reason you are not satisfied with the use of your donation.

The point here is whether or not vegetative patients in hospitals should be given funds for their sustenance. VAAG feels that every person has the right to treatment despite the fact that they have no money for the treatments.

Unfortunately, the number of vegetative patients in hospitals is on the rise. The reasons for this are multiple, but the main contributor is increasing medical costs. Some doctors claim that some patients in a state of “vegetative state” can feel pain and suffering, and thus deserve to be given the same level of care and support as fully-conscious Patients. There are many arguments for and against the care and support of vegetative patients in hospitals, but the main point is that there is a great need for funds to support these patients.

VAAG believes that donations have the potential to help support vegetative patients in hospitals.

Patients in this stage of care require around-the-clock nursing care and a considerable financial outlay. But the underprivileged section is not able to afford such costly treatments. People who would like to take care of a vegetative patient financially can donate funds and help the needy.

VAAG also offers its donors a 100% refund if they are dissatisfied with the use of their donations for any reason.
